About the Project
The Envirosphere Team have undertaken a detailed desktop assessment to understand the flora and flauna associated with the Tallebudgera Valley. Species such as Giant Barred Frog and Grey-headed Flying-fox are thought to live in the area. Endangered plants like Endiandra floydii and Lepiderema pulchella also thrive in the vegetation communities of the Valley.
Envirosphere will lead an exploration of the ecological values of two sites (over two Saturdays) to check the ‘truth’ of the flora and fauna on the ground. You will get to learn more about the environment and also get to make some art to document our discoveries.
Norton - retritus.com will guide us on a walk exploring the ecological value of the sites and to collect flora to create botanical eco-prints. We will document these and you will go home with a beautiful scarf.
Lunch is included. Register Now as numbers are limited
